Scents by LCS – Elemi Woods – Fragrance Oil

Description

This fragrance was inspired by elemi oil. Burning incense in my home brings a sense of serenity. Elemi’s incense quality is unique with its tropical green, peppery character. Isolating the lemon pepper accord inspired the woody, peppery and citrusy perfume prevalent in Mediterranean summers. To add an iridescent effect to the aromatherapeutic feeling, galbanum and pink peppercorns accentuate this raw botanical quality.
A touch of mint invigorates the pepperiness of cedarwood.

Notes in perfumery are descriptors of scents that can be sensed upon the application of a fragrance. Notes are separated into three classes; top/head notes, middle/heart notes, and base notes; which denote groups of scents which can be sensed with respect to the time after the application of a fragrance. These notes are created carefully with knowledge of the evaporation process and intended use of the fragrance.

Mid notes: Lemon Pepper
Base notes: Cedarwood

The use of fragrance oils will be dependant on the product you are creating. Please refer to the guide below for suggested ratios suitable for your product.
