Description

David Austin Roses are one of the most prominent rose breeders in the world, breeding exquisite english roses since 1961. In the early 1950s David Austin set out to create a more beautiful rose. A garden of these outstanding roses is hard to beat for sheer exuberance of flower and fragrance. A tribute to these roses is captured beautifully through olfactory notes of grape skins, white roses, geranium leaves grounded with budding cloves and dark luscious honey.

Notes in perfumery are descriptors of scents that can be sensed upon the application of a fragrance. Notes are separated into three classes; top/head notes, middle/heart notes, and base notes; which denote groups of scents which can be sensed with respect to the time after the application of a fragrance. These notes are created carefully with knowledge of the evaporation process and intended use of the fragrance.

Top notes: Fruity, Grape Skins
Mid notes: White Roses, Geranium Leaves
Base notes: Clove Bud, Dark Honey
