Description

Specially formulated for candles, the Burn Enhancer helps to optimise the rate of combustion, and assists in binding the oil in scented candles.

During the candle manufacturing processes, colours, fragrances and additives are normally mixed together in a hot liquid state. Upon cooling, the waxes form a crystalline structure in which the colour and fragrance aggregate in the spaces between the crystals.

Our Burn Enhancer ensures that a homogeneous crystalline structure forms, creating more space for liquid components such as the oil from the wax itself, colours and fragrances to coalesce. Oil and fragrance exudation is reduced, which has a positive effect on the hot and cold fragrance performance.

The homogeneous distribution of colour and fragrance in the crystalline structure of the wax results in an improved and consistent burn, measured by the uniform rate of consumption throughout the lifecycle of the candle.

USAGE

Suggested starting dosage 0.2% – 0.5% of your wax weight. Begin with a small pinch and measure your stabiliser accordingly to the ratio of your wax.

Suggested temperature for addition – approximately 80-85°c. Commonly added after Candle Stabiliser.

Dye flakes should be handled with gloves/protective wear.

Set candle colours may vary based on the dosage of your stabiliser. Only use more if your fragrance is less stable. Over dosage may change the properties of the wax and may result in underperformance in your wick.

For optimum results, we strongly recommend users conduct their own tests with different blends of wax and oils that they intend to use.

Keep out of reach of children & pets. Dye flakes should be handled with gloves/protective wear. Avoid direct contact with skin eyes, and do not ingest. If irritation occurs, seek medical advise. Use in ventilated areas and store in a cool dark area away from heat. Dispose of contents/container carefully.
